Yoga leads to much more than just physical well-being. Yoga can relieve emotional, physical and mental tensions. Practiced regularly, Yoga can break vicious circles of negativity such as anxiety, anger and depression, transforming irrational negative thought processes into rational positive ones. Yoga can help you improve your self esteem, self confidence and self awareness. Classes are held every Thursday morning 10.15am – 11.45am at Newport Methodist Church, Quay Street, Newport. Pilates at Riverside – every Thursday, 5.45pm. Come and join this friendly group – which includes men and women – contact Lisa 07917 127 004 “Lisa is an excellent teacher and makes the Pilates technique accessible for everyone, with all our different aches and quirks and issues. I find it excellent for helping me with my chronic back problem. Anyone can come along; it does look deceptively easy, but is really effective. We also have a laugh, which is almost as good as the relaxation, stretches and exercises.” Comment from Helen who attends the class.
The new Brading shed has its home at the Brading Youth Club. The intention of this shed is to make it an integral part of the Brading Community, bringing together men from the area to help maintain and improve the facility, as well as providing a space for other events to take place. Brading Community Partnership is looking to turn the Youth Club into a community asset, for the benefit of all. We meet every Thursday from 10am to 12pm. Please wear suitable clothing (for activities, such as painting). You can just turn up on the day, or of you would like to talk, please get in touch with us on the details below.
