Energy Price Guarantee:
In October 2022 the government introduced the Energy Price Guarantee to limit the amount you pay for gas and electricity. This will end on 31 March 2024.
You don’t need to do anything. The Energy Price Guarantee automatically applies to all types of energy tariffs.
The amount your charged for energy depends on your tariff.
Your energy tariff sets the price you pay for gas and electricity. If you're not sure what tariff you're on, check your energy bills or contact your energy supplier.
The Energy Price Guarantee will be reviewed on 1 July 2023.
