Wessex Cancer Trust runs two minibus service links for clients visiting Southampton General Hospital and Queen Alexandra Hospital. This service is free of charge with no booking needed.
Southsea Hover Travel Terminal to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth:
We provide a minibus service picking up patients from outside the Hovertravel in Southsea and delivering them to the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth. Hovertravel donate 10% of every NHS Hovertravel ticket sold to support our Daisy Bus so please ask for this ticket when purchasing your ticket. Ocean Village to Ret Jet to Southampton General Hospital:
The Red Jet timetable is changing imminently, and more sailings will be offered. The timings, however, don’t match the Southampton Daisy Bus timetable.
From Monday 27 July we’re asking all patients travelling to SGH via our Daisy Bus to call the driver to discuss their personal travel arrangements. The driver will do everything in his power to assist. However, patients may face a short delay whilst this timetable is in place.
