(Updated 24/03/2021)

Samaritans of the Isle of Wight operate from our centre at 52 South Street, Newport, next to the Fire Station.

A small but busy and friendly branch, we are part of the national network of Samaritans branches and take calls from all over the country and sometimes further afield.

As part of our service, we take phone calls, emails, and text messages, as well as being open for face to face callers, at the times given above.

We also have an active presence in the island’s prisons.

Talk to us any time you like, in your own way, and off the record – about whatever’s getting to you.

You don’t have to be suicidal.

Find out why our service works and what you can expect when contacting us.

If you have any concerns about our service before you try it, hear from others about how we’ve helped them.

Please don’t suffer alone.

If you would like to talk to us off the record about how you’re feeling, and would like emotional support please call our Free phone 116 123 or email
