A history of building excellence
Since 1840, Henry Ingram & Sons Ltd. have been recognised for carrying out many notable projects. In the past we have built many of the local Ventnor area landmarks, including the Royal National Hospital, St Lawrence Parish Church and Ventnor Town Hall.
We have continued to the present day with prestigious contracts with I.W. Healthcare NHS Trust, The National Trust, English Heritage at Osborne House and The Earl Mountbatten Hospice. Ingrams are proud to have been the main contractor in the construction of the £1m+ Isle of Wight Cricket Academy. Our smaller projects include renovation of private homes to reflect their Edwardian and Victorian heritage or up to date modern materials and design in new extensions and new builds.
Specialists in structural engineering
Ingrams specialises in structural works and can offer professional structural engineering advice on any size project. If you are looking to increase the size of a property we have worked on many extension and renovation projects, we are more than happy to show you past works to give you an indication of the quality of work we achieve.
Complete flexibility for every project
Currently 20 tradesmen and support staff are directly employed by Ingrams, thereby allowing complete flexibility in the range of works from small domestic maintenance and repairs, interior and exterior decoration to large refurbishment contracts for business and private clients.
We have excellent working relationships with many Island architects, Isle of Wight Building Control, conservation and Isle of Wight Council Planning officers with the full range of specialist trades within the company that are required in construction today.
