Action on Hearing Loss Sensory Service – Isle of Wight
The Isle of Wight Sensory Service provides free information and support to people who have hearing loss, sight loss, dual sensory loss, and their family and friends.
If you have sensory loss, we can help by providing suitable equipment and support.
We can visit you at home to find out how sensory loss affects your day-to-day life, and together we can work out what support you need.

**Latest – Coronavirus Update**
Due to the Coronavirus and in line with current Government advice, our regular hearing aid maintenance drop in clinics across the Island are suspended at present.
However, we are continuing to provide support for our clients by:
• Posting out batteries/tubing
• Giving information on how to clean, maintain and get the best from your hearing aids
• Giving information on managing hearing loss
Please don’t hesitate to leave a message on our answerphone or, if it’s easier, email me and I will send your query to the right member of staff.
These are difficult and worrying times for all of us.
Action on Hearing Loss (Isle of Wight) will resume its normal services once we know it’s safe to do so.
Until then, every best wish to you and your colleagues. Stay safe and well!
As part of our ‘soft re-branding’ process we are changing our answerphone message at our office. When you ring 01983 529533 the message will thank you for ringing RNID – our new name. Don’t worry you haven’t rung a wrong number! We will continue to provide exactly the same service to Islanders as we did as Action on Hearing Loss. Thank you for your patience.
RNID is the trading name of the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID).
