Sevenacres Carers  Lounge – Tel 822099 ext 2401

The Sevenacres lounge operates 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

For emergencies only over the weekend call Carers IW Telephone Support on 01983 533173

The lounge, located in the main hospital near the entrance to Appley and Colwell wards, now has a satellite space within the separate mental health unit. This has been made possible thanks to joint working between Carers IW and the Isle of Wight Trust to identify a small office space at Sevenacres, with funding for a support worker provided by the Isle of Wight Council.

The service offered by Carers IW includes support with hospital admission, stays and discharge as well as emotional support, help with emergency planning and signposting to other appropriate agencies to ensure that carers continue to be supported after the person they care for leaves hospital.
