Adult Community Learning Workshop Day For Adults Aged 19+ Sunday 9th February at Community Learning Centre, Ryde, PO33 1QS Tasters workshops cost £6 each or complete both a morning and afternoon session for just £10. Learn how to transfer an image onto sugar paper and then tonally render it with chalk and charcoal. Recycled Fabric Brooches (10am to 12pm) Use different sewing techniques and various recycled fabrics to create brooches that can be embellished with buttons and seed beads. Drawing Techniques (10am to 12pm) Opportunity to explore different drawing techniques and learn about pencil grades. Have Fun with Brusho Coloured Paint (1pm to 3pm) Explore and experiment with these high pigmented crystallised inks, that give dramatic effects on watercolour paintings, which can then be used as an enhancement in any future watercolour/mixed media projects. DanceSense is a gentle dance programme designed specifically for people living with neurological conditions which have affected their movement. It gives participants the opportunity to develop confidence and strength and express themselves creatively in a supportive environment. It is also a chance to socialise with others living with similar conditions.
