Alternatively, a home visit can always be booked for a valuer to appraise furniture and other pieces that cannot be brought to the salerooms. There is no charge for valuations of items that you wish to sell by auction, but for written valuations for probate and other purposes there will be a fee according to time spent. Offering Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (working the mind) Social and Reminiscence activities including discussions, word, board & card games, art activities and much more designed to stimulate the mind Groups run weekly in locations across the Island from 10am to 3pm (lunch available) Offers respite time for carers This is a charged for service with all proceeds supporting Age UK Isle of Wight’s charitable services. Bird Watching Walk – Weather Dependent. Now that the Auctioneer kitchen/bar has opened up at Rectory Mansion, the bird watching group will be meeting there at 10.15am on Wednesdays. We learn how to identify the birds on Brading Marsh, usually walking along the old railway track. We get back to Rectory Mansion at about 1.00pm. The group is guided by Malcolm Green who has an amazing knowledge of birds and takes great pleasure in sharing his knowledge with anyone who is interested.
