Off Key Community Choir Do you enjoy singing your heart out in the shower but lack confidence in your voice? Would you like a place to go and sing with others who feel the same way? Well then this is the new singing group for you! Come and join our friendly, sociable and fun singing group aimed at people aged over 18 who think they can’t sing. As a group our song choices will be varied and interesting, from pop songs, to show tunes and more! If you are looking for a pick me up or something to shake off those wintery blues then come and get involved and start singing your stresses away. Running every Tuesday from 7th November, 6:30pm – 8:00pm at the Methodist Church, Regent Street, Shanklin. Only £1 a session. Free parking in Landguard Road car park after 6pm. All abilities welcome. Bring your teddy bears along to Havenstreet to meet the Railway teddies. Children aged up to 15 will travel for free if they bring their much loved bear with them. Take part in our Teddy Bear Treasure Hunt and watch the Teddy Bears’ Special, an extra-special train on which our own teddy bears will travel. There will even be an opportunity to travel on the Teddy Bears’ Special, subject to a supplement and availability. How many teddies will you spot today? Our refreshment rooms will be serving a teddy themed menu. Look out for William the station master bear. KIDS GO FREE – If accompanied by a teddy bear up to 15 yrs. Beaver Scouts are our youngest members. They usually meet weekly to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities.
