Cowes Men’s Shed is open to everyone aged 18 and over not just men! We have a large carpentry/joinery workshop, a (relatively) sawdust-free break and activity room and a well-equipped kitchen area with an oven, hobs, a microwave, fridge and (most importantly) a kettle.

Yoga leads to much more than just physical well-being. Yoga can relieve emotional, physical and mental tensions. Practiced regularly, Yoga can break vicious circles of negativity such as anxiety, anger and depression, transforming irrational negative thought processes into rational positive ones. Aqua Therapy – Gentle,low impact movement to improve mobility, ease joint stiffness and strengthen muscles.
DanceSense is a gentle dance programme designed specifically for people living with neurological conditions which have affected their movement. It gives participants the opportunity to develop confidence and strength and express themselves creatively in a supportive environment. It is also a chance to socialise with others living with similar conditions.

Skin Cancer Support Group We meet on the last Thursday in the month from 10.30am – 12 noon at The Lighthouse Clinic, 62 Crocker St, Newport, PO30 5DA. We chat over a cup of tea or coffee.
