Volunteers Sought Wessex Cancer Trust Isle of Wight are hosting the Island’s first colour run on Sunday August 5th. We need volunteers beyond our capacity to make this a successful and safe event. Can you help with car parking, registering participants, throwing coloured powder or watching over an obstacle that day please? About the event: Sited at Sandown Airport the Rainbow Run will comprise of a 3km colour run with ten inflatable obstacles to climb over, clamber around or crawl through. The event is the first major fundraiser for the charity’s £100,000 Building for the Future appeal to create a new cancer wellbeing centre on the IOW. The event will also include live music, children’s entertainment, a barbecue and a licensed bar.
