Isle of Wight Festival 21st – 24th June, 2018. Starting the summer in style, the award winning Isle of Wight Festival takes place in June every year in the town of Newport and is steeped in history and recognised around the world for its amazing line-up, mixing legendary artists with the hottest up and coming acts. Kasabian, Liam Gallagher, Depeche Mode and The Killers will headline the Isle of Wight Festival 2018. The Script, Van Morrison, Blossoms and James Bay will also perform at the 50th anniversary festival, which takes place from June 21st to 24th at Seaclose Park, Newport. Date for Shipwreck Isle 2018 is Sunday 8th July. A one day spectacular ‘Shipwreck Isle’ is coming…. Get dressed up in your best pirate gear and help defend our Island. Located in Ryde and Appley Beach over this fantastic weekend, it is an event NOT TO BE MISSED and free to attend.
The Isle of Wight Festival of Running will be back from 1st June – 3rd June 2018! (more details to follow) The Isle of Wight Festival of Running is a three day event designed with the whole family in mind. Whether you have just taken up running with a Couch to 5k programme, looking a marathon or half marathon that combines stunning scenery and a challenging course or want to push yourself to the limit with a half iron distance triathlon – we have a race for you! Plus there is onsite camping and access to all the facilities the Sports Centre has to offer!
18th & 19th August 2018 Set against a beautiful backdrop of rolling green hills and farmland, the Garlic Festival is located just outside of Newchurch at the heart of the stunning Isle of Wight. The show is food and entertainment at its very best. A vast array of eats, treats, sights and sounds to suit all tastes and ages. There are huge garlic and food marquees, cooking demonstrations from top Island chefs in the all new theatre kitchen, children’s entertainers, archery and a giant fun-fair. V-Dub Island takes place on the Isle of Wight offering a fun packed weekend for V-Dub enthusiasts and music lovers alike.
