Isle of Wight Stroke Club welcomes membership from people affected by stroke throughout the island.
The group provides information and peer support and offers social and recreational activities including games, conversation, swimming, hydrotherapy, outings, concerts, talks and presentations by visiting speakers.
In addition they campaign for improvements in stroke care and prevention.
The Club is run by a committee of stroke survivors who aim to provide invaluable peer and social support to other stroke survivors, their families, carers and friends.
The group meets on the last Friday of each month from 1pm to 3:30pm at The Pavillion, Victoria Recreation Ground, Newport.
Membership Fee is £20 for 1 Year.
