Check it Out is a volunteer Group set up to improve young people’s health services on the Isle of Wight to make them more young person friendly. If you are aged under 19 and need medical advice you can visit this website. You are also able to have a confidential one-to-one online chat with a health professional.
For over 15 years, Wootton Bridge Community Centre has been offering the local community a convenient venue for events, occasions and meetings along with providing a location for a range of both adults and children’s activities. Our community centre is run by committee members who pride themselves on helping the community centre to flourish whilst encouraging young and older residents of Wootton Bridge to get involved. The community centre is a fantastic way to get to know the community whether you would like to join the social club or get involved with a group activity such as Zumba. The community centre is available for hire for a range of occasions including exhibitions, receptions, children and family events. We provide Disabled Access too.

Island Futures supports young people to make good career choices and participate in education, employment or training. Island Futures provides a careers guidance service within the majority of the Island’s secondary schools and is available for unemployed young people aged 16-19 to access through community based centres across the Island. For young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities the service can be accessed up to the age of 25. Drop-in centres across the Island for those aged 16-19 not in Education, Employment or Training in Ventnor, West Wight, Newport, Ryde, Cowes and Sandown.
